I provide year-round support to host families and au pairs, and also talk to families considering the program to help them determine if Cultural Care Au Pair is the right childcare solution for them.

My name is Joanne, I am the Childcare Coordinator for Cultural Care Au Pair . I live in Beverly with my husband and have two adult children. I have been an LCC for over 10 years and currently manage over 40 families and aupairs. I take great pleasure in helping parents balance their work and family life while ensuring that both au pair and families have a positive experience. I was awarded LCC of the year for continually providing ongoing dedicated service to all my families and au pairs. Some of the important functions of my job are:
- Screening and interviewing host families
- Providing year-round support to au pairs and host families
- Planning monthly au pair meetings for continued education and socializing
- Organizing two or more family events each year
- Performing follow up with inquiries across the country
- Mediating issues that arise between au pairs and host families
- Enforcement of U.S. Department of State guidelines
I have a passion for keeping current on children’s trends and facilitating cultural awareness in the community. It has been very rewarding for me to have helped so many families find a flexible childcare option that works best for them.
